To celebrate the 60th Anniversay of the Declaration of Universal Rights, I went to the human rights festival in Second Life. What’s still blows my mind is that it started off with a set from Maximillion Kleene playing from Niagara Falls. Then it was followed by Joaquin Gustav, who was playing live from somewhere in Argentina. The most beautiful version of Georgia I’ve ever heard on a guitar was followed by a blazing fast tango. If yet another one of my favorite musicans wasn’t sick, I would have heard original folk music from Grace Buford/Cylindian Rutabaga streaming from Atlanta. All these amazing people from all over the world getting together to celebrate one of the most important pieces of legislation written, at least in my opinion.
