Halt! It’s the Citizen Police

Today I felt as if I was driving down a road, filled with citizen police officers who are driving in the far left lane, trying to keep me from speeding. At the end of my day, I’ve learned some things:

  • that water damage unseen is usually of the flood plane type, but once seen is only a puddle;
  • that my son is amazing at coordinating grocery shopping with bold pointing and confident strides toward his destination;
  • that there are a shizit load of festivals in Buffalo – one for every month except April, I haven’t found April;
  • and that I like to keep my promises; so here’s my list of books that I got for Christmas so far.

Western New York: An Explorer’s Guide: From Niagara Falls and Southern Ontario to the Western Edge of the Finger Lakes, Second Edition (Explorer’s Guides)

This one is because I’m trying to learn about Buffalo, write about Buffalo for the BufWiki, and embrace my new community with both arms.

Outliers: The Story of Success

Understanding success will allow me to provide assets that support it. It’s mah job ya know. *grins proudly*

Web Analytics: An Hour a Day

I got this one because I’m a geek and I dream of the perfect analytic dashboard.

The New Influencers: A Marketer’s Guide to the New Social Media

Hopefully I’ll learn something and stop spamming everybody…lol.

Space Usagi

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS ONE CAME TO ME! It MUST be for the kids because I’m a serious adult and would never be caught reading such nonsense. *waits till you’re not looking so he can finish Space Usagi*

City on the Edge: Buffalo, New York, 1900 – present

I’m the BufWiki pimp. Pimping your wiki in the buff.

101 Greatest Moments in Buffalo History
